Invitation for Bids

The Oh-Penn Interstate Region Competitiveness Council is accepting bids from agencies with demonstrated abilities to design and develop websites.

The Scope of Work includes:
• Design and create a website that serves as a informational resource and marketing tool
• Work with designated Point of Contact and Competitiveness Council Website Committee to complete project
• Develop a website that can be easily maintained through currently used software
• Website hosting is not part of this contract
• Website domain is www.ohpenn.org
• Website should include interactive elements
• Website should contain the following pages; about us, our region, initiatives, documents, news, links and login
• Please see the attached website map for structure
• Website draft must be completed no later than March 1, 2011 with the final working website online no later than March 31, 2011.

Background
The Oh-Penn Interstate Region is a collaboration of Lawrence and Mercer counties in Pennsylvania and Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull counties in Ohio. As the nation’s first interstate workforce investment area, the Oh-Penn initiative’s goal is to increase economic and workforce development throughout the five counties. These counties share a common labor force as well as current and emerging industries.

Interested parties may submit a bid package which should include: a brief description of your agency and related services; a list of program deliverables for this project; an itemized budget of project costs; expected outcomes; and three (3) references and examples of websites previously developed by your company. Bids must be post-marked or hand-delivered no later than 4:30 p.m. on February 8, 2011 to:
