PA WIN (Pennsylvania Workforce Improvement Network)
The purpose of the Workforce Improvement Network is to encourage and support the development and expansion of customized workplace foundation skills instruction. This affiliation gives us the opportunity to meet the basic needs of the region's economy by linking with the workplace development system to deliver customized foundations skills to incumbent workers in the workplace. Mercer County Career Center can do this by analyzing individual company needs through a variety of tools, designing and developing a customized training package specific to the company, and then implementing this training on site to the company's incumbent workers. Upon completion of the training program, a final evaluation is made and results are reported to all stakeholders.
